Rinnovare is a British Columbian ambient composer employing tape-delayed Rhodes, luscious beds of strings, washed out guitar loops, dusty synths, glitchy beats and pristine drums, vocals, horns, and field recordings galore. Over the last few years, Matteo Neufeld has continued to establish himself as a prolific and daring experimental composer, with releases ranging in style from neo-classical and ambient to atmospheric indie. With his latest record, Let It All Wash Out, Rinnovare has pushed these familiar elements into far less abstract, and much more intentional new territory. With delicate organic elements contrasting against massive electronics, Neufeld has crafted a beautiful new world to step into, with a vitality behind these songs similar to that of Ben Howard and James Blake.
